THE STAGE IS SET FOR REVENGE

Three times world champions,the U-17 Golden Eaglets of Nigeria are set for a showdown tomorow in the finals of the ongoing FIFA U-17 World Cup at UAE, where they would lock horns with a team they met and won comfortably during the group stage of the competition-MEXICO.

Getting through to this final stage of the competition,the Nigerian lads have really proved soccer pundits right by maintaining a win streak all through the competition.Though they were held to a draw by Sweden at the group stage,same Swedish team were the last to receive the best of soccer diplay by the Eaglets at the semi-finals of the tournament.

 Both finalists have their records as winners on previous U-17 world cup competitions but soccer analysts have thrown their weight behind Nigeria as favorites. While the Mexicans are looking forward to revenge their 6:1 loss to the Eaglets during the group stage, the Eaglets made up of the following "killer squad" are not sleeping as they have vowed to ensure they lift the cup and present to Nigeria's president.
